Welcome to 2022. Lots to unpack here so pay attention.

I’m assuming everyone read yesterday’s article that explained the changes to the chart, but if you didn’t, here’s the Cliff notes: Jelly Roll and Yelawolf no longer qualify. Nu Breed & Jesse Howard have been de-classified as a collab and are now considered an official “group”. So keep in mind that if an artist moves up one or two positions it may just be due to the changes.

So here we go…

TOP 10:
Upchurch remains #1…not a surprise. But Kidd G, Colt Ford and Adam Calhoun each move up TWO positions as Jelly and Yela have vacated the #2 and #3 spots. Kidd G moves up from #4 to #2 while Colt moves up from #5 to #3 and Adam Calhoun moves up from #6 to #4. With Nu Breed & Jesse Howard now being designated an official group, they make their CRI chart debut at #5.

The Lacs, Hosier and Demun Jones all move up ONE position each. The Lacs move up from #7 to #6, Hosier from #8 to #7 and Demun from #9 to #8. Seth Anthony moves up TWO positions from #11 up to #9 to return to the TOP 10 again.

11-20:
Justin Champagne moves up ONE spot from #12 up to #11 but Savannah Dexter is the story of the week jumping NINE positions from #21 up to #12.

Struggle Jennings and Jawga Boyz both move up ONE spot each. Struggle is up from #14 to #13 and JB moves from #15 to #14. Nappy Roots in turn falls TWO positions from #13 back to #15.

Nu Breed (solo) moves up TWO spots from #18 up to #16 pushing Bubba Sparxxx back ONE spot from #16 to #17 and SMO back ONE position from #17 to #18.

21-30:
Seckond Chaynce moves up TWO spots from #23 up to #21 and Lenny Cooper moves up ONE spot from #24 to #23. FJ Outlaw moves up THREE positions from #27 to #24 while Cypress Spring and Anthony BEASTmode swap places. BEASTmode moves up ONE spot from #26 to #25 while Cypress moves back ONE spot from #25 to #26.

Bottleneck moves up ONE spot from #28 to #27 while Hard Target moves up THREE positions from #31 to #28 and Katie Noel also moves up THREE spots from #33 to #30.

31-40:
Who TF is Justin Time? moves up ONE spot from #32 to #31 while Brodnax drops back TWO positions from #30 to #32. And then following all move up:

Moccasin Creek moves up ONE spot from #34 to #33.
Outlaw moves up ONE spot from #35 to #34.
Twang & Round moves up ONE spot from #36 to #35.
Redneck Souljers move up ONE spot from #37 to #36.
Shotgun Shane moves up ONE spot from #38 to #37.

And finally the Good ‘Ol Boyz re-enter the chart at #38.
