Country Rap Weekly Chart – 5/7/2021-5/13/2021

I get about fifty emails a week telling me to take Yelawolf off the Country Rap chart because he constantly disses the genre. Valid points, but as of today he remains and this week passes Jelly Roll for the first time to take the #2 spot as his sales nearly double. There are no other changes in the Top 10.

The 11-20 spots see Lenny Cooper move up two positions from #19 to #17. Lenny’s move pushes Seckond Chaynce down one spot to #18. Haystak moves up one position from #20 to #19 while Cypress Spring re-enter the Top 20 at number #20, up one spot from last week.

The 21-30 positions see both our biggest gain and fall. Who TF is Justin Time? has a major drop, falling from #18 all the way down to #23 while Moccasin Creek earns our Greatest Gainer award up three spots to #27 from #30. Other moves include Nu Breed and Overtime both up one spot each. Nu Breed moves from #22 to #21, while Overtime moves from #23 to #22. Moccasin Creek’s three spot jump pushes Hard Target, Outlaw and Katie Noel each one position back. Hard Target moves from #27 to #28, Outlaw from #28 to #29 and Katie from #29 to #30. This marks the first time Katie Noel has not been in one of the Top 29 spots since the chart began.

The biggest moves in the 31-40 spots are Brodnax who moves up two spots from #39 to #37 and Danny Boone who also moves up two spots from #40 to #38. Dusty Leigh re-enters the chart for the first time in six weeks at #40. These upward moves push Austin Tolliver back two positions from #37 to #39 and Jessta James completely off the chart.
