THROWBACK ALBUM REVIEW – Jawga Boyz “Kuntry” (2011)

This one from the Jawga Boyz is a classic even if I didn’t think so when it first came out.

I have to admit I didn’t like this album when it first came out. I didn’t really get into JB until later projects. But this album is undeniably a classic driven by the big hits “Ridin High” and “All The Girls Wanna Ride”. It took a look back to really appreciate the value of this collection of songs and D Thrash’s contribution to the genre as a whole.

So far the album has sold over 180,000 units and its videos have racked up over 70M views.  Other highlights on the album include “Can’t See My Paint Job”, ‘Dirty For Weeks” and “Muddy Roads.” If you haven’t heard this album or haven’t in awhile, go check it out.
