The 2nd Annual Country Rap Insider Awards are upon us again with the nominees being announced this Friday and winners revealed the following week on different days. Nominees and Winners are determined by overall sales so while I know there will be some debate, this isn’t an opinion poll. Numbers don’t lie and the winners truly are the WINNERS.
Same categories as last year but here’s a reminder and how we determine the nominees and winners:
2022 Country Rap Insider Best Male Artist
The top five MALE sellers/streamers of accumulated overall sales across their entire catalog are chosen as nominees with the winner being the biggest selling MALE act of the year.
2022 Country Rap Insider Best Female Artist
The top five FEMALE sellers/streamers of accumulated overall sales across their entire catalog are chosen as nominees with the winner being the biggest selling FEMALE act of the year.
2022 Country Rap Insider Best Duo Or Group
The top five DUO or GROUP sellers/streamers of accumulated overall sales across their entire catalog are chosen as nominees with the winner being the biggest selling DUO or GROUP of the year.
2022 Country Rap Insider Best Emerging Artist
The top five sellers/streamers of accumulated overall sales across their entire catalog who have NEVER been NOMINATED as a BEST MALE, FEMALE or DUO or GROUP and whose oldest release is not more than 15 YEARS OLD are chosen as nominees with the winner being the biggest selling act of the year.
2022 Country Rap Insider Album Of The Year
The top five selling/streamed ALBUMS of the year are nominated with the winner being the biggest selling ALBUM of the year.
2022 Country Rap Insider Song Of The Year
The top five selling/streamed SONGS of the year are nominated with the winner being the biggest selling SONG of the year.
2022 Country Rap Insider Video Of The Year
The top five streamed VIDEOS of the year are nominated with the winner being the biggest selling VIDEO of the year.
