Country Rap Weekly Chart 12/17/2021-12/23/2021

Wow! Talk about end of year shake-ups. With one more chart to go after this we are seeing some changing of the guard in what’s been a mostly static Top 10 all year.

First let’s talk about typical Top 10 changes:
Upchurch retakes the #1 spot moving up ONE position from #2 and pushing Jelly Roll back ONE spot from #1 to #2. Kidd G then moves up TWO positions from #6 to #4 pushing Colt Ford back ONE spot from #4 to #5 and Adam Calhoun back ONE spot from #5 to #6.

Now let’s talk about the elephant in the room:
Hosier moves up another spot from #9 up to #8 pushing Demun Jones back ONE position from #8 to #9. Then, Seth Anthony returns to the Top 10 moving up ONE position from #11 to #10 pushing the Moonshine Bandits back to #11 and out of the Top 10 for the first time EVER.

Predictions:
I wouldn’t be surprised if Seth didn’t overtake Demun Jones soon as well but neither Hosier or Seth are really a threat to The Lacs’ #7 position in the near future as the gap is pretty substantial. It will take 4-6 months for these guys to make up that space unless they receive some label help.

Onward:
In the 11-20 section of the chart we see Savannah Dexter drop the THREE positions she gained last week falling from #19 back to #22. This makes Savannah this week’s BIGGEST DROP following her GREATEST GAIN last week. This marks multiple times this year where Sav gained big and then dropped big.  Dexter’s fall allows the following artist’s to move up:

Overtime moves up ONE spot from #20 to #19.
Haystak moves up ONE spot from #21 to #20.
Charlie Farley moves up ONE spot from #22 to #21.

In the 21-30 section we see Cypress Spring move up ONE position from #26 to #25. FJ Outlaw moves up THREE positions from #28 into a tie with Cypress at #25. Brodnax drops TWO spots from #25 back to #27 and Anthony BEASTmode drops ONE spot from #27 back to #28.

Austin Tolliver moves up FOUR positions from #34 up to #30 making him this week’s GREATEST GAINER. Austin’s surge pushes the following artists back:

Hard Target drops ONE spot from #30 back to #31.
Who TF is Justin Time drops ONE spot from #31 back to #32.
Katie Noel drops ONE spot from #32 back to #33.
Moccasin Creek drops ONE spot from #33 back to #34.

The rest of the chart stays the same. No new additions. No drops.
