In 2012 we were deep into the country rap mud craze. Colt Ford had already started setting up stages in mud bogs across the country and The Lacs’ “Kickin’ Up Mud” had been a hit for two years. Not to mention Lenny Cooper’s “Mud Digger” and the MD series was on Volume 3.
It was all in motion when Yela dropped this massive hit featuring Kid Rock complete with all the muddin’ you ask for. So anytime Yela says he’s not country rap, remind him of this video. It’s awesome.
