Same Top 10 but it moves around a bit as Kidd G falls back to #7 and The Lacs move up to #6. Moonshine Bandits retake the #8 spot as Demun Jones falls back to #9 even though his weekly sales are higher than last weeks.
The 11-20 positions see SMO move up one spot to #13 pushing Hosier back one spot to #14. Lenny Cooper moves up two spots from #19 to #17 pushing Seckond Chaynce down one spot to #18 and Haystak down one spot to #19. The biggest story here is Overtime who we just discovered and who makes his CRI Top 40 debut in the Top 20 at #20. This pushes Cypress Spring back out of the Top 20 down to #21.
The big story of the 21-30 section of the chart is WhoTFisJustinTime?’s seven spot move from #33 up to #26 on the strength of his latest single “Country Rap Facts”. This pushes the entire back half of the chart back as Hard Target, Moccasin Creek, Twang & Round, Redneck Souljers and Shotgun Shane all fall back one position each even though every one of those artists sold more units this week than last. Katie Noel falls two spots from #27 to #29 and she also sold more units than last week. Overtime’s entry at #20 also pushed Savannah Dexter from #21 down to #22 and Nu Breed from #22 down to #23. Last, we had our first TIE as Anthony Beastmode and Bottleneck sold the exact number of units and share the #24 spot.
Only other change in the 31-40 section is Jessta James’ move up one spot to #37 pushing Austin Tolliver down one to #38.
Note: If you didn’t notice, we finally decided to remove Burden from the chart as several artists and fans pointed out that his percentage of country content was not enough to qualify him for this chart based on original guidelines. We will keep an eye on his music and if he reaches the proper percentage we will re-add him. Regardless we wish him the best of luck.
