LA Doesn’t Mean Los Angeles for Tommy Chayne

Tommy Chayne, Drops “LA” Single

Backroad Records’ (a division of Average Joes Entertainment) recording artist, Tommy Chayne, drops new his new single, “LA,” Friday, September 21, 2018. “LA,” Chayne’s third single since singing with Backroad Records, is available via all digital retail outlets. Written by Chayne and Bubba Sparxxx, “LA” is an anthem, of sorts, for Lower Alabama — not the L.A. (Los Angeles), which might come to mind for most people. The song captures life in the deep south, the only life Tommy Chayne knows. “This is my kind of country,” said Chayne. “It’s hard-working folks, it’s gritty, it’s who I am. Bubba pulled up a beat and I got in the zone,” he added. “I wrote my parts in no time, I am a freestyle writer, I just let the beat talk to me.”

Chayne previously collaborated with redneck icon, Ryan Upchurch, on  “King of the Pines,” and country rap group, Cypress Spring, on “Where You At.”

“LA,” drops Friday, with a corresponding music video coming next week. The video was filmed in Mobile, Alabama, Chayne’s home turf. “It’s not a party video,” he said. “My goal was to build a bridge showing the other side of rap, the gritty, the prideful side of Lower Alabama.”
